I’m Anna – that’s what most people simply call me. Home for me is the Zillertal in Austria, and I’m happiest outdoors: ski touring, on my road bike, paragliding or travelling somewhere in the world with my backpack. Here on my blog I share my outdoor adventures and travel stories with you.
From road racing via London back to the mountains
I used to spend a lot of time on my road bike – I raced up to 40 times a year and went to a school for competitive athletes. After school I took a big step and joined the Austrian Armed Forces. There I trained as a non-commissioned officer and spent a few years training recruits and paramedics.
Then London called, where I became a personal trainer – really exciting! After that I spent another year and a half in Vienna working at a gym. But I missed the mountains – and in 2018 love finally brought me back to the Zillertal.
Since 2023 I’ve been working full-time as a content creator. I travel together with my husband Tom, the photographer behind many of my pictures – and of course our dog Frida joins us on lots of adventures.
Living my best life in the mountains
I try to take every situation with a smile – even when the usual chaos gets in the way once again. On my blog, on Instagram and on YouTube I take you along: honest, sporty and with lots of love for nature.
